Applications
Gas membranes (also known as diaphragm bellows) allow the remote control of pressure in a diamond anvil cell. By connecting the membrane to an appropriate controller and a high pressure gas bottle, the in-situ pressure of the DAC may be changed in a accurate, reproducible and safe fashion.
